I want to thank everyone for their patience as we get closer to launching our new Plug-in Element. I know there are many questions about the plug-in and I expect many more after watching this video.
With this short demo, I want people to get a sense of the plug-in and what kind of speed and quality to expect since this was our primary goal from the beginning; To offer 3D quality at the speed you expect when using After Effects.
There is still tons of cool features to demonstrate so believe me when I say, “You haven’t seen anything yet!” The price and availability are still undetermined but it will definitively be competitively priced as well as offer unrivaled value and powerful 3D features.

Impresive work.
Does it mean that i can import any obj model into AE?
But if i want to import only one object to animate and control it, is that ok too?
Interresting to see how heavy the 3d model could be before freezing my dear AE.
can’t wait to see all the other functions (blending/inertia of motion/etc..)
And maybe, in a future version; maps from objects, etc…

This looks like a revolution!
Maybe in the future we will be able to make all the 3d stuff inside of after effects.
If you needed pinpoint control i suppose you could create separate element layers and just have one or a few “atoms” per layer

It’s an amazing utility, congratulations!
By the way, I use AE in my laptop because it has more RAM than my Desktop computer, but my laptop has Intel graphics, whereas my Desktop computer has a Nvidia 1gb Card but 2,5 RAM.
Which computer would Element work better in?
